Meet Your Veterinarian
Dr. Marcy McKeithen, otherwise known as the Motor City Pet Doc, is a native Detroiter. A graduate of an HBCU at Florida A&M University, she then earned her DVM from the University of Florida in 2010 with an additional 1-year small animal internship after graduation. She has worked all over the United States, as well as 2 years in Spain before returning to Detroit in 2018. Dr. McKeithen has worked in multiple areas of veterinary medicine, including: general practice, emergency hospitals, and housecall practice. She is ecstatic about finally being able to co-own a PetSmart Veterinary Service in Troy.
